Deliverables:
- The Resource will act as a subject matter expert on a variety of infrastructure projects initiatives including service enablement's, networking and new features proof of concept.
- Some of these will include designing, supporting and configuring SDN networking, securing network, colo and DR network improvements and supporting service delivery excellence including automations.
- They will also assist with complex Cluster solutions that require enhanced integration with cloud services, assist FTE builders with complex projects on-prem or in cloud and act as site reliability engineering as required.
- This Resource will also work on JTS projects including cage which will require enhanced security.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve and support the day-to-day operations of on-prem infrastructure including integration and upkeep with cloud vendors, networking and optimization.
- Create and conduct activities on networking front.
- Support migration to new hardware and software stacks.
- Support LCM maturity by assisting in refresh strategy.
- Assist in process refinement, application performance improvements.
- Refresh of legacy environments.
- Assist FTE in complex client projects including design and build activities.
- Assist with incidents for mission critical applications as required.
- Guide integration team to enable networking and pipeline service.
Must Haves:
- Building new infrastructure using automation based on design specifications.
- Extensive knowledge in deploying and managing core IT systems, including networks, firewalls, SDN and hypervisors.
- Proficient in Networking and VMware with hands-on experience.
- Apply SRE expertise to create automation and self-service portals, improving service delivery and monitoring for legacy and on-premises network systems.
